Meeting of the Deputy Prime-Minister for Reintegration, Oleg Serebrian, with the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Moldova, Yan Wenbin

On June 17 2024, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian had a working meeting with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Moldova, H.E. Yan Wenbin.

The dialogue addressed issues related to the current stage of the negotiation process for the Transnistrian settlement, the socio-economic situation in the Transnistrian region of the Republic of Moldova, support actions for citizens by the constitutional authorities.

At the same time, the Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the primary objectives of the country's reintegration policies, underlining Chișinău's determination to continue the process of solving the conflict exclusively peacefully, strengthening the statehood of the Republic of Moldova and preserving the perspective of European integration.

In turn, Ambassador Yan Wenbin reconfirmed the support of the People's Republic of China for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova.
