Meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister for reintegration Oleg Serebrian with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway in the Republic of Moldova

On Wednesday, March 29, Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian had a meeting with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to the Republic of Moldova, based in Bucharest, Mrs. Siri Barry.

During the dialogue, the officials referred to the regional situation in the context of the current geopolitical and security landscape in the Black Sea region. Particular attention was paid to the current dynamics of the interaction between Chișinău and Tiraspol and to the positive actions carried out by the constitutional authorities for the inhabitants of both banks of the Nistru River. Oleg Serebrian stressed that maintaining stability and continuing the dialogue in the existing formats in order to solve the problems of citizens, but also of economic agents, remain the main priorities of Chișinău.

The Deputy Prime Minister thanked for the assistance given to our country by the Government of the Kingdom of Norway, in particular in the field of promoting projects to strengthen confidence building measures in the Security Zone and support for the protection of human rights in the Transnistrian region.
