Meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian with the delegation of the Subcommittee on Security and Defence of the European Parliament

On May 18, the Deputy Prime Minister for reintegration Oleg Serebrian had a meeting with the delegation of the Subcommittee for Security and Defence of the European Parliament, led by MEP Nathalie Loiseau, who made a documentation visit to the Republic of Moldova.

The officials addressed topics related to the situation in the region, the discussions focusing on the latest developments recorded in the negotiation process for the Transnistrian settlement.

Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian emphasized the firm commitment of the Chisinau authorities to move forward on the path of the country reintegration exclusively through peaceful means, highlighting the need to achieve the goals of democratization and demilitarization of the Transnistrian region, without jeopardizing the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova.
