Meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister for reintegration Oleg Serebrian with a group of members of Parliament from France

The Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian had a meeting with a group of members of the National Assembly of France, accompanied by HE Graham Paul, Ambassador of the French Republic in Chișinău.

The officials addressed topics related to the regional situation, as well as the efforts made by the authorities of the Republic of Moldova together with strategic development partners to maintain stability and security in the region.

Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian referred to the developments recorded in the negotiation process, highlighting the need to achieve the goals of demilitarization and democratization of the Transnistrian region.

Chișinău's determination to resolve the Transnistrian conflict exclusively peacefully, without jeopardizing the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country, was reconfirmed.

Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian expressed sincere gratitude for the attention and backing offered by the French authorities to the Republic of Moldova, as well as for the support in the process of sustainable development and European integration.
