Meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister Roman Roșca with the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Moldova, H.E. Paun Rohovei

On August 25, 2025, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Roman Roșca held a working meeting with the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Moldova, H.E. Paun Rohovei.

The discussions focused on a wide range of current issues on the bilateral dialogue agenda, the good relations of cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine, as well as on promoting effective reintegration policies in the legitimate interests of the residents on both banks of the Nistru River.

Warm and mutual congratulations were exchanged on the occasion of the Independence Day celebrations in Ukraine (August 24) and in the Republic of Moldova (August 27), with reaffirmed messages of solidarity and consistent support, including in achieving strategic state interests.

Ukraine’s firm support was reiterated for the peaceful settlement of the Transnistrian conflict, with full respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova within its internationally recognized borders.

The officials emphasized that the process of European integration brings multiple benefits and perspectives to the population throughout the entire country, thus also fostering progress in advancing the country’s reintegration policies.
