The problems of the inhabitants of Dubăsari district are on the agenda of Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian

On January 16, 2025 Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian together with Deputy Roman Roșca, Chairman of the Special Parliamentary Committee for Parliamentary Monitoring and Control over the Implementation of the Reintegration Policy of the Republic of Moldova, undertook a working visit to the Dubăsari District Council, where they discussed the most urgent problems faced by representatives of the district and local public authorities in Dubăsari, economic agents and farmers.
The main topic addressed during the meeting was the evolution of the energy situation in the Transnistrian region and the repercussions on some settlements in the Security Zone perimeter, ways of intervention and assistance, but also the support that has already been offered to several localities in this perimeter.
Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian assured that the central public authorities will continue to come up with support measures for the local population in order to overcome the existing difficulties and increase energy resilience.
Another important topic addressed during the meeting was the Transnistrian settlement process. The Deputy Prime Minister informed about the current situation of the negotiations and about the main aspects of the dialogue between Chișinău and Tiraspol.
It was also communicated that between 10 January and 26 February 2025, project proposals to be evaluated, selected and approved for funding under the Programme of Activities for the Reintegration of the Country for 2025 are being collected. This year, Government priorities will focus on strengthening the security/energy efficiency sector, supporting farmers and educational institutions, as well as providing support to institutions located in the Security Zone.
