The representative of the Reintegration Policies Bureau participated in a round table

The Head of the Analytical and Information Section within the Bureau for Reintegration Policies, Ivan Țurcan, participated, today, in videoconference format, in a round table dedicated to regional security aspects and the perspectives of the full reintegration of the Transnistrian region in the Republic of Moldova, with the participation of national and international experts (Ukraine, Poland, Romania, etc.).

The representative of the Bureau reviewed the current situation in the Transnistrian settlement process, reiterating the commitment to promote a peaceful solution to the conflict and presenting the activities undertaken by the authorities of the Republic of Moldova in order to solve pressing problems of the citizens and to promptly react to serious violations of human rights produced in the eastern districts of the country.

The need to strengthen cooperation with the external partners of the Republic of Moldova in order to promote coordinated approaches on aspects aimed at the implementation of the country's reintegration policies was evoked.
