Results of the meeting of the Working Groups for the development of transport and road infrastructure

On November 29, 2024, the third meeting of the Working Groups for the development of transport and road infrastructure with the participation of experts from both banks of the Nistru River was held this year.

During the meeting, current topics were discussed with an emphasis on the efficiency of vehicle registration offices in Tiraspol and Râbnița in order to serve a larger number of applicants.

The representatives of the Public Services Agency reiterated the need to implement a hybrid programming system, which implies the possibility of programming at the registration services, both through the Agency's customer support service (by phone number 14 909) and through existing channels.

In addition, the experts from Chișinău explained the conditions that led to the need to optimize and modernize the vehicle registration processes, including by reviewing some tariffs and establishing a complex service that contains all the necessary operations, excluding services that are component parts of this process (vehicle identification, issuance of the registration certificate, including provisional, cancellation of previous registration certificates, etc.).

On topics related to documentation with national model driving licenses and authorization of the activity of Periodic Technical Inspection Stations for Vehicles, the requirements and procedures established by national legislation were set out in detail.

The experts expressed openness to maintaining a constructive dialogue.
