The situation within the perimeter of the Security Zone, discussed by the Joint Control Commission

The weekly meeting of the Joint Control Commission has been summoned in Bender on 16 March, 2023.

After hearing the report of the Joint Military Command, the delegation of the Republic of Moldova requested, for future reports, a more accurate reflection of the realities in the Security Zone.

Regarding the issues in the area of responsibility of the Mixed Peacekeeping Forces, the Chișinău delegates have readressed the subject of the posts unilaterally installed by the Transnistrian force structures.

The members of the Commission did not approve decisions during the meeting, and the issue of eliminating the illegal posts in the Security Zone remains a priority on the agenda of the delegation of the Republic of Moldova.
