The team of the Bureau for Reintegration Policies in discussions with a group of young people from both banks of the Nistru River

In the context of maintaining an interactive dialogue platform with the young generation, during interactive discussions with a group of young people from both banks of the Nistru River, participants of the summer camp „Young People for PEACE”, organized by the Public Association „Initiative 4 Peace”, the team of the Bureau for Reintegration Policies presented and explained the specificity of the Transnistrian issue and the governmental priorities in the field of the country's reintegration policies.

The Head of the Bureau Alin Gvidiani reported on the activity, mission and files managed by the Bureau, the dialogue formats on the Transnistrian settlement, the governmental and parliamentary commissions on the country's reintegration, the priority actions in this area, the role of international partners, the perspectives and opportunities offered to both banks of the Nistru River in the context of the European integration process of the Republic of Moldova.

Young people received reasoned answers to their many questions. Representatives of the Bureau encouraged them to be active in promoting the strategic goal of reintegration of both banks of the Nistru River, as well as to apply for participation in the program of paid internships in the civil service, and to conscientiously contribute to policies for the restoration of common national spaces.

The „Young People for PEACE” Camp is organised by „Initiative 4 Peace/I4P” in partnership with „Civic Education”, as part of the project „Building sustainable and inclusive peace, strengthening trust and social cohesion on both banks of the Nistru River”, financed by the UN Peacebuilding Fund, implemented jointly with Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, UNDP Moldova and UN Women Moldova.
