Twenty-five projects were implemented through the Program of Activities for the Reintegration of the Country in 2023

In accordance with Government Decision no. 275/2023, central and local public authorities, beneficiaries of allocations through the Program of Activities for Reintegration of the Country for 2023, were distributed budgetary resources to finance specific activities of community and regional development, rehabilitation of local infrastructure, modernisation of key social institutions, resolution of pressing development problems, provision of essential public services, etc. for implementation in the localities within the perimeter of the Security Zone.

The beneficiaries of the Program were obliged to carry out the established activities and use the resources according to the destination, and after the end of the budget year, to submit annual reports on the use of allocated funds to the State Chancellery (Bureau for Reintegration Policies).

Following the evaluation of the reports submitted by the beneficiary authorities, it is attested that during 2023 out of the total number of 26 approved projects, 25 projects were implemented and 1 project remained unimplemented (see the report here).

Thus, out of the total financial means allocated in the amount of 15000 thousand lei, their beneficiaries used the total amount of 12633.5 thousand lei, and the unused amount of 2366.5 thousand lei was transferred to the state budget account, according to the provisions of Government Decision no. 131/2014.

In total, 550 projects worth over 175 million lei were financed between 2011 and 2023.
