Working visit of the Deputy Prime Minister in the Florești district

On March 21, 2024, the Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian made a working visit to the villages of Vertiujeni and Târgul Vertiujeni in Florești district.
The discussions with the representatives of the local and decentralized public authorities focused on issues regarding the proper functioning of public services, for the benefit of the citizen, as well as elucidating the existing problems at the local level and finding ways to solve them.
Among the topics of interest addressed by the citizens of the visited localities was the Transnistrian settlement process in the context of the European integration of the Republic of Moldova and the Government's efforts aimed at the firm promotion of policies for the peaceful reunification of the country. In this context, Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian reiterated the position of the Government of the Republic of Moldova to support all its citizens, throughout the country: „We want all localities in the country to prosper, to create equal conditions for development and rapid European integration”.
Another matter discussed was the use of opportunities to access and implement community development projects. It was revealed the need to train local public administration officials for the formation of the capacities to apply successfully to the assistance programs offered by external donors.
Thus, Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian stated that in the near future such training sessions will be organized for the employees of the district councils and mayor’s offices located in the perimeter of the Security Zone.
