Working visit of Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian to Bucharest

Today, February 28, 2024 the working visit of Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian to Bucharest begins. At 10:00 a.m., the Deputy Prime Minister will meet with Romanian Foreign Minister Luminița Odobescu. Also today, Oleg Serebrian will make a presentation on the situation in the Transnistrian region to the heads of diplomatic missions accredited in the Republic of Moldova. The event will take place at the Romanian Institute of Diplomacy. Next, a number of meetings will be held with Romanian officials, including the Secretary of State, Head of the Department for Relations with the Republic of Moldova Adrian Dupu. Also today, Oleg Serebrian will give an interview to Euronews about the events in the eastern districts of the country and the reintegration process.
Tomorrow, February 29, Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian will be received by the President of the Romanian Senate, Nicolae Ciucă, at the Parliament Palace. There will also be separate meetings with Senator Titus Corlățean, Chairman of the Foreign Policy Committee of the Romanian Legislative Assembly, Senator Nicoleta Pauliuc, Chairman of the Defense, Public Order and National Security Commission of the Upper House of the Romanian legislature. Along with this, Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian will have a meeting with Gabriel Bologan, Foreign Policy Adviser of the President of Romania that will take place at the Сotroceni Palace.
