Working visit of the Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian on the Cocieri plateau

On February 1, 2024, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian, jointly with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, Vasile Şarban, representatives of the Bureau for Reintegration Policies and the Chișinău Territorial Office of the State Chancellery made a working visit to Cocieri and Molovata Nouă villages in Dubăsari district, where he met with representatives of local public authorities, teachers, as well as farmers holding agricultural land beyond the „Râbnița-Tiraspol” route.  

During the discussions, topical issues were addressed, including the restrictive actions of Tiraspol in relation to economic agents and farmers.

The Deputy Prime Minister assured farmers that after the Department of Agriculture and Cadastre of the Dubăsari District Council presents estimates of the costs incurred and the mechanism for their distribution, financial resources in the form of partial compensation will be determined.

During the visit, Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian also got acquainted with the current problems of the educational process, the state of the premises of educational institutions in the Cocieri commune, including the „Garofița” kindergarten-nursery.

Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian also visited the Museum of History and Ethnography in the village of Molovata Nouă, which in 2022 benefited from a financial support of 360.000 lei through the Program of Activities for the Reintegration of the Country.
