Working visit of the Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian in the village of Corjova, Dubăsari district
Today, February 24, 2023, the Deputy Prime Minister for reintegration Oleg Serebrian, accompanied by representatives of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection and the Bureau of Reintegration Policy, made a working visit to the village of Corjova in the district of Dubăsari.
During the dialogue held with the representatives of the local public administration and the inhabitants of the village, the difficulties faced by the locality, as well as aspects related to its development and modernization, were addressed.
Among the priority topics discussed were the problem of some public utility offices in the locality, the development of local infrastructure, as well as the need to modernize the educational-cultural buildings in the Corjova commune.
While on the spot, Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian visited the "Mihai Eminescu" Theoretical Lyceum located in the village, closely examining the array of problems faced by the mentioned educational institution, generated by its specific territorial location.
The Deputy Prime Minister for reintegration reaffirmed the necessity to intensify the cooperation between the central and local public authorities in order to streamline the process of managing current issues of major importance for the community, aimed at supporting citizens in overcoming the identified difficulties.
Local authorities were encouraged to participate actively in community development project competitions, financed both from the state budget and by external partners.
In this regard, it was reiterated about the Program of activities for the reintegration of the country, which is ongoing and through which the locality previously benefited from 3 development projects worth 740 thousand lei.
