Working visit of the Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian to the village of Mărcăuți in the Dubăsari district

On August 9, 2023, the Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian, together with the member of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova Roman Roșca and the representatives of the State Chancellery and the Bureau for Reintegration Policies, made a working visit to Marcăuți village, Dubăsari district, where he had meetings with the local public administration, teachers, medical personnel, local councilors, economic agents and residents of the village.

 

During the dialogue with the mayor and representatives of local public institutions, the difficulties encountered by the population and the public administration in the village were revealed, thus, attention was drawn to the need to rehabilitate the Office of Family Doctors, to equip the House of culture with the necessary equipment, to replace doors and thermal insulation of the "Domniţa" kindergarten.

 

Also, among the problems examined were: capitalizing on the tourism potential of the community, developing the local infrastructure, supporting business initiatives in the countryside.

 

Deputy Prime Minister Serebrian and the representatives of the Bureau for Reintegration Policies also visited the House of culture in the locality, which benefited from financial support within the program of the country's reintegration activities.

 

In this sense, the Deputy Prime Minister encouraged the local authorities to continue applying to community development projects, financed through the assistance programs offered by international donors, as well as to the competition of projects selected and approved through the Program of Activities for the Reintegration of the country for the year 2024.
