Working visit of Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian to Orhei district

On September 5, 2024, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian, together with Member of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova Mariana Cușnir and representatives of the Bureau for Reintegration Policies, paid a working visit to the communes of Mârzeşti and Vâşcăuţi in Orhei district.

During the visit, Oleg Serebrian met with citizens and representatives of local authorities. The discussions focused on the socio-economic situation of the communes, the interaction of central and local authorities, the benefits of European integration, European development projects implemented in the Security Zone with an emphasis on infrastructure development projects.

While in the settlements located within the perimeter of the Security Zone, the Deputy Prime Minister touched upon the issue of the Transnistrian settlement, as well as the launch of the next Programme of Activities for the Reintegration of the Country.
