Working visit of the Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration to Ustia and Marcăuți

On 14 August, 2025, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Roman Roșca paid a working visit to the localities of Ustia and Marcăuți in Dubăsari District, where he held meetings with representatives of local public administrations, staff of educational institutions, and officers of the Dubăsari Police Inspectorate (IP Dubăsari).
The discussions focused on topics of major interest for the communities, including the development and modernization of socio-cultural infrastructure, improving access to public services, and facilitating the free movement of citizens on both banks of the Nistru River.
During the visit, the Deputy Prime Minister also took part in a working meeting, in which IP Dubăsari officers briefed him on the situation in localities within the region. One of the priority issues addressed was the maintenance of public order.
The Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the importance of active involvement from local public authorities and civil society in identifying practical solutions aimed at improving the lives of residents in the Security Zone.
In his dialogue with the staff of Ustia Gymnasium, the discussion covered priorities such as improving study conditions, modernizing the material base, and ensuring a high-quality educational process for students.
