Seven settlements located within the perimeter of the Security Zone will benefit from funding under the 2025 edition of the national program “Europe is Near.” In this regard, the local administrations of these localities will implement projects aimed at modernizing local road infrastructure, thereby contributing to improved living conditions in the region.

The selected localities are:

  • Oxentea, Dubăsari District;

  • Hîrbovăţ, Anenii Noi District;

  • Teliţa, Anenii Noi District;

  • Delacău, Anenii Noi District;

  • Puhăceni, Anenii Noi District;

  • Dubăsarii Vechi, Criuleni District;

  • Corjova, Criuleni District.

The projects involve construction and rehabilitation works on local roads, sidewalks, and access routes, resulting in safer and more accessible road infrastructure. The modernization of infrastructure in these localities also positively contributes to the implementation of reintegration policies, fostering openness between communities on both banks of the Nistru River.

These seven projects add to the 12 localities from the Security Zone that already benefited under the first edition of the “Europe is Near” Program, reaffirming the Government’s commitment to supporting the sustainable development of communities within the Security Zone perimeter.

In total, 579 local road infrastructure projects were declared eligible for the 2025 edition of the Program, all of which have been included for funding in the Single Programming Document for 2025–2027, according to the Government’s decision of July 30, 2025.
