29 January 2025, Chișinău - A number of 370 economic agents from all over Moldova participate in the 22nd edition of the Made in Moldova national exhibition. This year, 50 companies – producers from the textile, industrial, as well as food sectors – participate in the exhibition for the first time ever. At the launch event, Prime Minister Dorin Recean appreciated the fact that the exhibition was growing year after year and provided a platform for the local companies to present their products and establish new business partnerships.

„For the first time ever, the big networks of shops participate in the exhibition, which are set to back the local producers through the promotion of products on their shelves. I want to encourage entrepreneurs to get used to this culture of cooperation, especially taking into account the huge potential of export of our products to the European Union. Our goal is to be EU member in 2030 and our producers should be able to access the richest market,’’ PM Dorin Recean also said.

The prime minister referred also to the government’s efforts to support business people and enhance their competitiveness. ‘’We have programmes of grants provided by the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development, the 373 Programme which subsidizes the interests taken on easy terms, as well as the subsidization fund in agriculture.’’

The PM visited the stands of the producers and appreciated the products displayed by the entrepreneurs. ‘’Moldova is able, Moldova does; Moldova succeeds. Our producers are very good and are appreciated regionally and at the European level,’’ the prime minister stressed.
