Moldovan PM has meeting with acting President of Romanian Senate

25 March 2025, Chișinău - Romania will firmly support the European integration way of Moldova and the reforms’ agenda implemented for the country’s development. The commitment for continuing the joint projects and the consolidation of the cooperation in the context of the current challenges today was reconfirmed at a meeting between Prime Minister Dorin Recean and acting President of Romania’s Senate Mircea Abrudean.
The PM said that Romania strayed one of the most important partners of Moldova, stressing the continuous support which had always boosted the Moldovan government’s efforts in diverse sectors.
The officials referred to strategic projects, such as the development of the capacity of interconnection of the power networks, easing of the cross-border traffic, construction of four bridges across the Prut River, as well as of the Ungheni-Ungheni bridge. The sides also touched upon the importance of ensuring the cyber security, commercial and economic cooperation and attracting new investments to Moldova.
