Moldovan PM says one can no longer speak about eficient governance without taking into account technology

20 March 2025, Chișinău - The enforcement of innovative technological solutions for improving the governance and the cooperation between public institutions and financial system has been discussed at a conference titled, Future of Governance. Prime Minister Dorin Recean participated in the event.

In his speech, the PM stressed that the use of innovative solutions was essential in a continuously changing world. ‘’We can no longer speak at present about an efficient governance without taking into account the technology, artificial intelligence, advanced data analysis. They have become efficient instruments of work,’’ the prime minister said.

Dorin Recean also said that prosperous organizations were the ones which put on the first place the sustainability, diversity and inclusion. ‘’We do not talk only about the maximizing of profits, but also about the creation of a real value for the society. I encourage, on these days, that we look beyond the challenges of the present and embrace the opportunities of the future,’’ Prime Minister Dorin Recean said.

The speakers also tackled subjects on the role of the technology and artificial intelligence in the transformation of the public institutions and financial systems; importance of synergy between them, in order to enhance the efficiency, transparency and inclusion; evolution of the regulatory framework; innovation in policies and financial governance.

The event brought together about 150 participants and was organized by the Association of Investors from Romania, which actively gets involved in the development of the investment and business environment from Moldova.
