Moldovan president visits company in settlement from Anenii Noi district

7 april 2025, Calfa, Anenii Noi - The government continues to support the business environment – through easier access to financing, reducing bureaucracy and programmes due to encourage entrepreneurs. Prime Minister Dorin Recean has conveyed a message to this effect at a visit to the Dorvic Grup Ltd Company, with a history of almost two decades.

The PM discussed with the business owners the problems they faced, the support provided by the government and the development plans.

„Moldova needs more people like those whom I knew in Calfa, who take responsibility to turn initiatives into concrete actions, contributing to the development of the economy and creation of jobs. I encourage everybody who have a business idea to initiate it, as the government will stand with them, with clear-cut measures and real support,’’ the prime minister said.

The main activity of the company in Calfa is the import, packing and sale of fresh vegetables, greens and salads in Moldova. The products are sold in the biggest chains of shops and catering units.

At the same time, Dorvic Grup Ltd is the exclusive importer and distributor of Fresh for you salads of Italian brand.

Presently, the company, set up in 2005, has 60 employees.

During 2019-2023, the government provided the company with subsidies worth almost 12 million lei in all. Dorvic Grup Ltd invested the money received from the state in houses for packing, fridges, equipment for the processing, drying and congealing of fruits and vegetables.

The state has more ongoing initiatives of support for entrepreneurs – the 373 governmental programme, as well as other grants and opportunities of financing provided by the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development and the Agency for Intervention and Payments for Agriculture.
