Over 115 million lei will be allocated for the liquidation of the consequences of the natural calamities of June - September 2024

March 13, 2025, Chisinau-the localities affected by the torrential rains, the strong wind and the hail from June-September 2024 will benefit from financial aid of over 115 million lei, to remedy the damages. O decision in this regard has been approved today by the Executive.    

The funds will be distributed to Rezina, Hîncești, Florești, Telenești, Ialoveni, Strășeni, Cantemir and Leova, where, due to torrential rains, massive road infrastructure and private households have been registered.     

About 114 million lei will be intended for the rehabilitation of damaged public roads, and another 331 thousand lei will be allocated for the repair of 21 buildings in Cania and Stoianovca village, Cantemir district.    

The implementation of the project will be carried out by the local public administration authorities in the affected regions.
