Prime Minister in dialogue with NATO Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Security Policy
The regional security context and the support of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) for strengthening Moldova's resilience on its European path were discussed at a meeting between Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu and NATO Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Security Policy Boris Ruge.
The Prime Minister said that the partnership with NATO helps Moldova enhance its crisis response capacity, modernize its defense institutions, and protect its information and cyber space. "We have the responsibility to protect our citizens and contribute to maintaining peace on the continent," he emphasized.
Cooperation will continue based on Moldova-NATO Individual Partnership Action Plan 2025-2028. The document sets forth bilateral cooperation objectives, including counteracting hybrid threats, promoting strategic communication, and enhancing emergency assistance.
