The delegation of the Republic of Moldova participated in the meeting of the Joint Control Commission in Bender

At the weekly working meeting of the Joint Control Commission on March 19, 2026, the delegation of the Republic of Moldova submitted a list of journalists who had expressed their intention to cover the situation in the Security Zone. Representatives of Chișinău requested the expedited and comprehensive review of the list so that all correspondents would have the opportunity to objectively report on the activities of the Commission and the Joint Peacekeeping Forces.

Simultaneously, at the request of the Agency for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre, the delegation of the Republic of Moldova informed the Joint Control Commission about aerial photography flights over the territory of the Republic of Moldova, including in the Security Zone, planned for the current year. These activities are necessary for updating the national cartographic database and are of significant importance for sustainable economic development. A call was made to refrain from any actions that could adversely affect the safety of the planned flights.
