Event dedicated to the 31st anniversary of the creation of the Joint Peacekeeping Forces

The Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian, together with the Minister of Defense Anatolie Nosatîi, representatives of the delegation of the Republic of Moldova in the Joint Control Commission and the military contingent of the Peacekeeping Forces from the Republic of Moldova, participated in a ceremony dedicated to the 31st anniversary from the start of the peacekeeping operation in the Security Zone of the Republic of Moldova.

The event was organized at the independent infantry company of the Peacekeeping Forces deployed in Varnița.

In his speech, Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian expressed gratitude to the Moldovan military who are in the vanguard of the mission to defend the independence and territorial integrity of the country and appreciated the dignity and skill with which they do their duty to the Motherland.

During the festivity, the peacekeepers who distinguished themselves by the impeccable performance of their service and excellent results in their professional activity were decorated with distinctions and diplomas of honor
