Today, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, Oleg Serebrian, met with the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG) in the Republic of Moldova, Mrs. Margaret Uebber, and the Deputy Head of the Ukraine, Moldova and Black Sea Cooperation Unit within the Federal Foreign Office of the FRG, Mrs. Yasmin Raya.

During the discussions, they noted Germany's essential contribution to the Support Platform for the Republic of Moldova and the support provided to Chisinau in areas such as European integration, economic development, the social sphere, strengthening national security, and the reintegration of the country.

The Deputy Prime Minister mentioned the efforts made in promoting sectoral reintegration policies of the country, as well as the priorities in this dimension, including maintaining regional stability and preventing escalations, achieving full economic and fiscal reintegration on both banks of the Nistru River, and driving progress in the transnistrian settlement process through advancements in the European integration process.
