New measures for Talmaza village from the Security Zone

The Moldovan Delegation to the Joint Control Commission (JCC) submitted a request towards Co-chairs of the Russian Federation and Transnistrian Delegations, as well as the OSCE Mission to the Republic of Moldova, regarding the new measures adopted for Talmaza village, located in the Security Zone.

 

According to the Decision of the Commission for Emergency Situation (CES) of 8 April, in Talmaza, Ștefan Voda, a quarantine regime was established starting 9 April, at 08.00 A.M. The decision was taken considering that several cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in this village with almost 7 thousand inhabitants.

 

The quarantine measures applied in Talmaza are established according to instructions provided by CES Decision no.6 of 26 March, 2020, and will be performed by a team of at most 10 persons of law enforcement and military, who will not carry weapons, but will ensure public order and the quarantine regime.

 

On 8 April, the new measures applied in Talmaza village from the Security Zone were coordinated among the JCC Co-chairs.

 

It has been established that after the quarantine regime is lifted, personnel performing quarantine measures will be withdrawn from the Security Zone.
