Discussions of Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Roman Roșca with the Directors of Eight Romanian-Language Educational Institutions in the Transnistrian Region
On August 11, 2025, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Roman Roșca, together with representatives of the Ministry of Education and Research and the Bureau for Reintegration Policies, held a working meeting with the directors of eight educational institutions that teach in the Romanian language in the Transnistrian region.
During the meeting, participants analyzed the results of the 2024–2025 academic year and discussed preparations for the upcoming 2025–2026 school year. The main challenges and difficulties hindering the proper functioning of these institutions were reviewed, along with possible solutions and the obstacles imposed by Tiraspol on the educational process.
A separate topic focused on the measures being taken to enhance energy resilience and improve readiness for the upcoming heating season, including maintenance, equipment upgrades, and optimization of energy resource consumption.
Deputy Prime Minister Roman Roșca reaffirmed that the functioning of these institutions remains a priority for the authorities, will stay under their constant attention, and will be closely monitored. In this regard, field visits and concrete actions will be undertaken to support the activities of these schools, so that the educational process can take place in safe conditions and in compliance with the national standards in force.
