The Deputy Head of the Reintegration Policies Bureau Eugen Cara participated in the Awards Ceremony of Small Grants for local Civil Society Organizations from both banks of the Nistru River
The event was organized by the United Nations Entity for gender equality, UN Women, within the project "Building sustainable and inclusive peace, strengthening trust and social cohesion in Moldova", financed by the UN Peacebuilding Fund.
The Deputy Head of the Bureau expressed gratitude to the external partners for supporting the development projects on both banks of the Nistru River, which build sustainable and inclusive peace, strengthen trust and social cohesion throughout the country.
It was highlighted that supporting the full participation of women in peace processes means democracy, multilateral development and the security that in the current regional context we all want to strengthen.
Eugen Cara stated that Chisinau will continue to support every development project that unites the inhabitants of the two banks of the Nistru River and in this way, he urged the applicants to be active in capitalizing on external assistance, especially now when the Republic of Moldova is at the stage of pre-accession to the European Union.
