The Government approved the funding of 26 projects through the Program of Activities for the Reintegration of the Country for the year 2023

The members of the Government approved, today, the program of activities for the reintegration of the country for the year 2023, which provides for the financing of 26 development projects in the perimeter of the Security Zone, with a total budget of 15 million lei. The list of projects to be funded was approved by the Selection Commission enabled by Government Disposition No. 19-d of February 10, 2023, in accordance with the established eligibility criteria.

In the current year, according to the priorities declared at the stage of launching the project competition, 11 projects for the development and modernization of institutions in the educational system, 7 projects for the repair and equipping of buildings belonging to administrative, cultural, sports and healthcare institutions, 7 projects for the development of leisure areas and other public spaces, as well as a project for granting financial support to ensure the activity of the delegation of the Republic of Moldova in the Joint Control Commission were selected and will be implemented.

The authorities of the central and local public administration, beneficiaries of the Program, have the obligation to capitalize on the financial resources according to their destination, until the end of the IV quarter of 2023, and will present to the State Chancellery (Reintegration Policies Bureau) the report on the use of the allocations.

We remind that, in the period 2011-2022, 12 government programs for the reintegration of the country were implemented, with the realization of 518 projects worth over 160 million of lei, aiming to solve pressing problems in the Security Zone, to support sustainable community development, achieving the reintegration of the country desideratum.
