Participation of Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian in the ceremony of commemoration of the heroes fallen in the armed conflict on the Nistru river

Commemorative actions dedicated to the heroes who fell in the battles for the defense of the integrity and independence of the Republic of Moldova took place today on the Coșnița plateau, Dubăsari district.

Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian, Minister of Internal Affairs Adrian Efros, together with local and district public administration officials, representatives of the Dubăsari Police Inspectorate and veterans of the 1992 war, laid flowers and took part in a public gathering in front of the monument „For the Country, for the Nation”.

In his speech, Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian paid tribute to those who fought to defend the independence and territorial integrity of our country, highlighting the importance of these events for future generations and the collective memory of our citizens.

On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Moldova, as a sign of high appreciation for the patriotism, valor and the spirit of sacrifice manifested in the combat actions for the defense of the territorial integrity and independence of the Republic of Moldova, Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian handed Diplomas of Honor to the war veterans.
