Projects for the benefit of citizens, implemented with the support of the Government in the perimeter of the Security Zone

On 30 September 2024, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian together with Deputy Roman Rosca, Chair of the Special Committee on Parliamentary Monitoring and Control over the Implementation of the Reintegration Policy of the Republic of Moldova and representatives of the Bureau for Reintegration Policies visited the kindergarten „Garofița” in the village of Cocieri, the early education institution „Lăstăraș” in the village of Molovata Nouă and the gymnasium „Ștefan cel Mare” in the village of Molovata, modernised with the financial support of the Government, through the 2024 Program of Activities for the Reintegration of the Country.
The kindergarten „Garofița” from Cocieri village benefited from budget allocations amounting to 400 thousand lei for the repair of the heating system at block „C” of the institution, the area being intended for sports activities involving young people from both the village and the city of Dubăsari, temporarily outside the effective control of the constitutional authorities.
At the same time, at the „Ștefan cel Mare” gymnasium in Molovata village, where 179 pupils study, thanks to the support provided through the 2024 Program of Activities for the Reintegration of the Country, the project for the renovation of the electrical networks worth 1.2 million lei was successfully completed in 2024.
Another project that successfully passed all stages of the selection conducted in 2024 was implemented in the early education institution „Lăstăraș” in the village of Molovata Nouă, Dubăsari district. The institution is attended by 70 children. The total cost of the project was 125 thousand lei.
In 2024, within the framework of the Program of Activities for the Reintegration of the Country, 15 million lei were allocated to finance 31 projects in the localities of the Security Zone.
The Program contributes to achieving the governmental objective of reintegration of the country and strengthening confidence measures between the both banks of the Nistru River, by involving central and local public administration authorities in activities aimed at solving pressing problems of development of local communities in 9 districts located in the Security Zone.
Since the launch of the Programme in 2011 and until 2024, 580 projects/activities worth over 190 million lei have been implemented in the settlements located within the perimeter of the Security Zone of the Republic of Moldova.
