Working visit of Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian to Solonceni and Mateuţi communes

On August 1, 2024, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian paid a working visit to Solonceni and Mateuţi communes of the Rezina district. The visit served as a good opportunity to discuss current issues and measures needed to solve existing problems with representatives of the local public administration.

The interlocutors referred in particular to increasing access to a wide range of social services, developing infrastructure, implementing projects and using the opportunities offered by national programs and external donors' offers.

Accompanied by the mayors of the localities and the deputy of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, Vitalie Jacot, the Deputy Prime Minister visited the sports ground of the Solonceni gymnasium, which will be renovated within the framework of the Program of Actions for the Reintegration of the Country for 2024. In Mateuţi, officials got acquainted on the spot with the progress of work on the reconstruction of the House of Culture, and also visited a kindergarten, which was renovated in 2017 thanks to the project financed by the agreement between the Government of Romania and the Government of the Republic of Moldova.
