PM to represent Moldova at Davos Economic Forum

21 January 2025, Chișinău - Prime Minister Dorin Recean on 22-23 January will lead Moldova’s delegation at the 55th edition of the Davos Economic Forum. The event is held with the title, Collaboration for the Intelligent Age.   

 

The PM will have a string of bilateral meetings with political leaders and representatives of international companies. During discussions, Prime Minister Dorin Recean will promote Moldova’s economic agenda, with emphasis on the benefits the country is providing to investors from abroad. At the same time, the PM will refer to the concerns dealing with the information security, as well as the efforts of consolidating the energy independence of Moldova.     

 

The Davos Economic Forum bring together almost 3,000 leaders from over 130 countries, including 350 governmental officials, of whom 60 heads of state and government from all important regions. The Moldovan delegation is made up of Economic Development and Digitalization Minister Dumitru Alaiba and the head of the Investments Agency, Natalia Bejan.    

 

The subjects on the Forum’s agenda comprise the evolution of the world  economy, the energy situation, climate goals and the way the artificial intelligence can help improve the people’s living.
