Meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister for reintegration with the Ambassador of Hungary in the Republic of Moldova Sándor Szabó

Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian met today, June 3, 2022, with the Ambassador of Hungary in the Republic of Moldova, Sándor Szabó.

The officials reviewed the evolution of Moldovan-Hungarian relations and the various forms of assistance provided to the Republic of Moldova, including during the pandemic and in helping refugees from Ukraine, highlighting openness to developing and intensifying bilateral cooperation in areas of common interest.

Issues related to the Transnistrian issue, the current situation in the eastern districts of the country, the regional security context and the current priorities promoted in order to maintain a peaceful and stable environment and provide the necessary support to the people on both banks of the Nistru River were also addressed.
