The preparations for the new academic year were discussed with the directors of the 8 educational institutions teaching in Romanian in the Transnistrian region

The Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian together with the representatives of the Ministry of Education and Research and the Reintegration Policies Bureau, held a working meeting with the participation of the directors of the 8 Romanian-teaching educational institutions from the Transnistrian region.

The Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian was informed about the progress of the implementation of the projects financed through the program of activities for the reintegration of the country for the year 2022, the main achievements attained by the educational institutions in the academic year 2021-2022, but also the objectives planned for the new school year.

At the same time, regarding the preparations for the new academic year, the challenges experienced by the 8 Romanian-teaching schools and the possible ways of intervention to solve them were discussed.

Assurances of full openness from the Bureau and the Ministry of Education and Research regarding making all the necessary efforts to ensure the good functioning of these schools were given, and it was agreed to maintain and continue an active dialogue in the interest of students, teachers and the progress of a quality educational process.
