2,428 economic agents from the Transnistrian region are registered with the Public Services Agency

As of June 30, 2025, the Public Services Agency (PSA) has provisionally registered 2,428 economic agents from the Transnistrian region, which is 22 more than at the end of 2024 and approximately 1.79 times more than in 2014, when only 1,354 entrepreneurs were registered.
In the first half of 2025, economic agents from the Transnistrian region paid around 80.4 million lei in customs duties for imported goods, reflecting their integration into the national customs system and the strengthening of the unified economic space. Throughout 2024, customs duties paid amounted to 196.2 million lei.
Economic agents from the eastern districts of the country and the municipality of Bender, registered with the PSA, continue to carry out foreign trade activities based on certificates of origin issued in accordance with current international and national standards.
According to data provided by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Customs Service, and in accordance with the provisions of the World Trade Organization and national legislation, the following types of certificates were issued in the first half of 2025: “EUR.1” (847 certificates), “Form A” (12 certificates), “CT-1” (241 certificates), and “Form C” (431 certificates).
This trend highlights a continuous process of reintegrating the economic activities on the left bank of the Nistru River into the national legal framework, in line with the Republic of Moldova’s commitments undertaken both domestically and internationally. At the same time, this dynamic demonstrates that the European path and alignment with European Union standards are also producing positive effects for economic agents in the region.
