Meeting of Deputy Prime Minister Valeriu Chiveri with Thomas Lenk, Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office for the Transnistrian Settlement Process

On 2 December 2025, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Valeriu Chiveri held a meeting with Thomas Lenk, the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office for the Transnistrian settlement process.

The dialogue touched upon the current state of the negotiation process on the Transnistrian settlement. In particular, the dynamics on the main negotiation issues were outlined, and priority measures being undertaken by national authorities to advance sectoral reintegration policies were discussed.

The officials agreed to maintain constant interaction in order to advance the Transnistrian settlement agenda, while acknowledging the OSCE's efforts in supporting the objective of bringing the two banks of the Nistru River closer together.
