2,478 economic agents from the Transnistrian region have been registered in the records of the Public Services Agency

As of 31 December 2025, the registers of the Public Services Agency (PSA) listed 2,478 economic agents with the place of activity in the Transnistrian region, registered either on a permanent basis or recorded under temporary registration.

In 2023, 2,371 economic agents were registered (of which 1,931 under temporary registration and 440 on a permanent basis), and by 2025 the number had increased to 2,478 economic agents (of which 2,012 under temporary registration and 466 on a permanent basis). The moderate but steady growth (+107 companies over two years, approximately +4.5%) confirms that, even under the constraints created by factors from Tiraspol, economic agents in the region ensure their operation through the legal and administrative instruments of the Republic of Moldova.

In 2025, the number of customs duties paid on imports of goods by economic agents from the region totaled approximately 166.7 million lei. This indicator demonstrates that economic agents in the region operate in compliance with national legislation and contribute to strengthening the single economic space of the Republic of Moldova.

Economic agents from the left bank of the Nistru River and the municipality of Bender continue to carry out foreign trade activities on the basis of certificates of origin issued in accordance with international standards.

According to data provided by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Customs Service, in accordance with the norms of the World Trade Organization (WTO), in 2025 the following types of certificates were issued:

• EUR.1: 2,009 certificates;

• Form C: 1,090 certificates;

• CT-1: 775 certificates;

• Form A: 20 certificates.
