Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian discussed with European experts the country's reintegration policies and the prospects for their implementation

June 26, 2025 Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian met with a group of representatives of research centers and think tanks from some member states of the European Union and Ukraine, who were on a working visit to Chișinău, at the initiative of the Institute for European Policies and Reforms (IPRE), with the support of the European Union and the German Marshall Fund – Transatlantic Foundation (GMF-TF).
During the dialogue, Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian spoke about Chișinău’s approach to the peaceful settlement of the Transnistrian conflict, based on the principles of sovereignty, the territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova, and the respect for the fundamental rights of citizens on both banks of the Nistru River. The current state of the dialogue and the Government’s priorities aimed at ensuring sustainable development and achieving the strategic objective of European integration – anchored in the country’s unified legal and economic space – were also discussed.
The representatives of the research centers showed active interest in the developments and priorities of the Transnistrian settlement process, asking questions and expressing their willingness to analyze and reflect on this topic in their future work.
