Discussions on the Transnistrian file with a delegation of the Committee for European Affairs from the Bundestag of the Federal Republic of Germany

The specifics of the Transnistrian file and the dynamics of events in the context of current realities were discussed at a working meeting between the head of the Bureau for Reintegration Policies, Alin Gvidiani, and a delegation of the European Affairs Committee of the Bundestag of the Federal Republic of Germany, headed by MP Anton Hofreiter, President of the Committee.
It was emphasized that real problems of citizens and prompt support measures from constitutional authorities are in the priority focus of Chișinău, including those aimed at protecting their fundamental rights and freedoms, multisectoral reintegration of both banks, sustainable development throughout the country and maintaining regional security, strengthening channels of dialogue able to contribute to the final and peaceful settlement of the Transnistrian conflict, within the limits of the territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova.
The important role of the country's strategic partners was noted, with an emphasis on the EU, which, in light of the multilateral assistance offered and jointly accepted commitments, can make a significant contribution to the realization of the Government's goal of reintegration of the country and achieving a comprehensive and sustainable settlement.
