A new batch of medical assistance has been donated to beneficiaries from the Transnistrian region
Today, August 8, 2023, a new batch of humanitarian assistance, offered as a donation to the Republic of Moldova from the Coordination Office of the World Health Organization in the Republic of Moldova, was delivered to a medical center in the city of Tiraspol.
The distributed batch was composed of 49 maintenance kits with oxygen concentrators indispensable in the therapy of patients and for supporting the body's vital functions.
The reception, storage, registration and distribution of medical supplies from the external donation took place in accordance with the provisions of the Order of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Moldova No. 337-d from July 3, 2023.
We remind that previously, on February 9, the medical centers on the left side of the Nistru River and the municipality of Bender received, according to the procedures approved by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Moldova, another batch of humanitarian assistance containing protective equipment in accordance with quality standards and safety equipment for medical personnel: disposable rubber gloves (1100 pcs.), nitrile gloves (600 pcs.), face shields (2600 pcs.), syringes (1700 pcs.), clinical thermometers (4 pcs. ).
Thus, in the context of the strengthening of the national commitment, the competent authorities of the Republic of Moldova offer continuous support to its citizens in the Transnistrian region in order to promptly respond to emergency needs and protect public health.
