Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, Cristina Lesnic, tested positive for the new coronavirus
The Bureau for Reintegration informs that the Deputy Prime Minister, Cristina Lesnic, has been tested positive for the new coronavirus and is being treated at home. Ms. Lesnic takes the treatment prescribed by doctors, who follow the symptomatic evolution.
“Coronavirus does not choose randomly and we are all exposed to being infected. I urge once again the entire population to respect the anti-epidemiological safety rules in order to protect themselves, their families and not to put at risk those around them”, said Cristina Lesnic.
During this time, the Bureau for Reintegration will continue to exercise its functions. One of the priorities is to ensure the safe inception of the study year in all the schools teaching in Latin script from the Transnistrian region and the Security Zone.
Some of the Bureau's employees returned today from their annual leave, while those who were in possible contact are to be tested for COVID-19.
